About this Event

Please join the Deputy Speaker Nantasha Williams, NYS Senator Leroy Comrie, and Assembly Member Alicia Hyndman for the 5th Annual Back to School Block Party & Backpack Giveaway. We will be closing Linden Blvd in front of the office of Deputy Speaker Williams for you to enjoy fun activities, music, games, face painting, live music, and more! Also, don't miss the FREE resources from our community partners tabling at the event.

RSVP is a must! When you RSVP, backpacks and school supplies will be available for pickup between 1 pm and 3 pm. The child must be present to receive a backpack, and distribution will be 1 backpack per child. All other additional backpacks will be on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
