The invitation is to find that sweet point of surrender in each of the 5Rhythms®. To dance Flowing so fully, so committed, that you let go all you know about Flowing, all your Flowing dances you ever danced. To trust the heartbeat of Staccato, going straight to the heart and from the heart, going directly to what really matters. In Chaos we search for what do I need to let go to find my freedom, find my peace of mind? We dive under the constant chatter of our mind, for that deeper trust that we carry in our belly since we have our body, trust in a bigger cosmos, trust in nature's unfolding, trust the softness and the strength of SURRENDER. And then, what is on the other side, what is that collateral beauty coming after a full surrender, the only kind of surrender actually? Lyrical taking us by the hand into the space that opens up inside and outside of us. Nobody else can take us there but our own leap of faith. And landing into the Stillness, where we can accept what we already knew, where the answer is simple, where silence is vibrating and holding us. Again and again.

Silvija Tomčik first encountered Gabrielle Roth’s teachings in 1995 through her book, Maps to Ecstasy. That discovery lit a fire that has never gone out. Soon after, she began bringing 5Rhythms® to Croatia, Slovenia, and neighbouring countries, planting seeds of a practice that has since touched many lives. At that time she was active in Antiwar Campaign Croatia, co-founded Volunteer’s Center and worked in Centre for Peace Studies. Trained by Gabrielle in the Waves (2001) and Heartbeat (2010) levels, Silvija was a core member of the 5Rhythms Teacher Training Staff with Jonathan Horan from 2013 to 2020. Over the years, she has offered the full spectrum of teachings — from weekly classes to ongoing groups, from local classes to international journeys, and from weekend workshops to five-day retreats. She creates dedicated workshops for 5Rhythms teachers, mentors teachers on their path, and continues to expand her reach through online offerings. In 2018, she published WAVES: Voice and Vision, a book created in collaboration with 20 artists.
