Every journey begins with a threshold.
Before we know where we are going, before the path reveals itself, there is the moment of arrival — the moment we say yes to what is ready to move.
In this 5Rhythms® Heartbeat daylong workshop, we will explore Beginning: the art of entering the body, arriving in the present moment, listening for what is true, and meeting the courage to begin again.
Beginnings can stir many things: excitement, hesitation, fear, longing, hope, resistance, and aliveness. Through movement, breath, rhythm, and embodied awareness, we will create space to meet the vulnerability of beginning.
We will dance with questions such as:
What am I beginning?
What threshold am I standing at?
What does my body need in order to arrive?
What courage is already living inside me?
No previous 5Rhythms experience is required. All bodies, all ages, and all emotional landscapes are welcome.
Come begin where you are.
Come meet yourself at the threshold.
Come dance the courage to start again.
The 5Rhythms® Heartbeat map created by Gabrielle Roth invites us to move with the emotional landscape of the heart: fear, anger, sadness, joy, and compassion, as embodied energies that can be felt, expressed, transformed, and integrated through the dance.
**Your daylong registration includes admission to Sweat Your Prayers on the same day as your workshop.
