We are the Minnesota Brewery Running Series and we run for beer!
Join us for a 5K-ish fun run and craft beer celebration at Tanzenwald Brewing Co. on Sunday, August 16 at 11:00 AM as part of the 2026 Minnesota Brewery Running Series season.
Run, walk, jog, or cheer your way through a fun, untimed 5K-ish course—no clock, no pressure. Then celebrate with a locally crafted beverage and an afternoon of community at the brewery.
About Tanzenwald Brewing Co.
Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Northfield, Tanzenwald Brewing Co. blends exceptional craft beer with old-world charm. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, the brewery offers a welcoming atmosphere, thoughtfully crafted beers, and a menu that makes it easy to turn your brewery run into a full afternoon outing.
With colleges returning for the fall semester, it's the perfect time to experience one of Minnesota's most charming college towns. Stick around after the run to stroll downtown, browse local shops, grab lunch, or take Northfield's self-guided Historic Walking Tour to learn about the city's rich history—including its famous connection to Jesse James and the banks of the Cannon River.

Course
Enjoy a marked 5K-ish route beginning and ending at the brewery. The course will explore the streets and scenic paths surrounding historic downtown Northfield.
Final course maps and parking information will be emailed to registered participants the week of the event.
