Join us on May 16, 2026 at Bringle Lake Park West in Texarkana, TX for the 5K Fun Run/Walk benefiting the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue K9 Team. This event also marks the team’s 20th anniversary, and we’d love for the community to come out and be part of it. We will have information booths set up for an opportunity to learn about what we do!
Whether you’re a competitive runner, prefer to walk, or want to participate with your dog, there’s a division for you.
Late registration: 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM
Race start time: 7:30 AM
Divisions:
• 5K Run – Men & Women
• 5K Run with Dog (Canicross) – Men & Women
• 5K Walk – Men & Women
Dogs are welcome but must be on leash. No aggressive dogs, please.
All participants will receive a finisher medal. Rosettes will be awarded to 1st–3rd place in each running division.
Come support the K9 team and help us celebrate 20 years of service to our community.
