5K for Alzheimer's Awareness

The 5K for Alzheimer’s Awareness event, organized by MeducateTeens, will take place at High Park (200 Parkside Dr, Toronto, ON M6R 2Z3) on March 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The race will start at 10:00 AM on West Road, just north of the Grenadier Restaurant, and will follow a scenic route through High Park, designed for both casual walkers and competitive runners. The course will loop around the Grenadier Café, head north on Colborne Lodge Drive, turn west onto West Road, and continue towards Grenadier Pond, taking a beautiful route along the park’s south end. Participants will then head north towards the finish line located on Colborne Lodge Drive, just south of the Bloor Street Gate. Water stations will be available along the route, and post-race refreshments will be served.

Registration is available online, and sponsors are welcome to contribute to make the event a success. MeducateTeens is raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, with the goal of supporting research and care for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In the event of bad weather, the race will be postponed with updates sent via email and social media.
