5k Fun Run Ruse Brewing | Part of the 2026 Oregon Brewery Running Series

Join us for a fun-filled day of running, beer, and good vibes at Ruse Brewing in SE Portland, OR!

Lace up your running shoes - we've mapped out a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this awesome taproom in SE Portland. Run, walk or jog before celebrating with a locally-made craft beverage at the finish line.

GIVE BACK!

Proceeds from this race benefit (BBBS). BBBS pairs volunteer mentors with children needing additional support. These relationships break generational poverty cycles, support hard-working single mothers, and provide transformational change for our community’s most vulnerable youth and families.

Mentorship is proactive. Supporting at-risk youth during their formative years creates a clear pathway to graduation that includes a plan for their future. This leads to more stable, healthy, and productive adults contributing to society.

Right now, over 300 youth are waiting to be matched with a mentor. Your support will help remove children from the waitlist and pair them with a mentor who will change their life's trajectory.

BE ACTIVE

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is fun for all. The 5k course will take you along the Springwater Corridor, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while getting your heart pumping.

After crossing the finish line, reward yourself with a well-deserved pint of craft beer from Ruse. Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment and the taste of a refreshing brew!

Our mission is to be active, have fun and give back. A portion of all proceeds from our events supports local nonprofits - over $500k raised to date!
