5K and Food Truck Festival

Join us on July 12 in Evanston for the Val Nora 5K: Walk • Run • Roll and Food Truck Festival during Disability Pride Month to raise awareness and support for adults with physical disabilities.

The event will feature a 5K with a shorter 2K option, food trucks, a DJ, and family-friendly activities.

Funds raised support resident services that promote health and wellness for adults with physical disabilities through opportunities such as healthy cooking, wheelchair yoga, art therapy, mental health support, and community connection.

We’re also proud to be sponsored by Northwestern University, with members of the Northwestern Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams joining us at the Food Truck Festival to meet participants and families.

It will be a fun, inclusive, family-friendly day for all ages and abilities!
