58th Annual Cochrane Labour Day Parade

Celebrate the end of summer at the 58th Annual Cochrane Labour Day Parade, a beloved community tradition taking place on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Historic Downtown Cochrane, Alberta.

Organized by the Cochrane Area Events Society alongside the popular Cochrane Lions Rodeo, this annual parade has been bringing the community together for nearly six decades with eye-catching floats, local businesses, community organizations, clubs, and performers. It's one of Cochrane's signature annual events and a favorite Labour Day tradition for residents and visitors alike.

The festivities begin with pre-parade entertainment at 9:00 AM, giving spectators plenty of time to settle in before the parade officially steps off at 10:00 AM. Bring your lawn chairs, gather with family and friends, and enjoy a vibrant procession celebrating Cochrane's community spirit as parade entries make their way through the heart of downtown.

Parade Route

The 58th Annual Cochrane Labour Day Parade follows its traditional downtown route:

• Travels along 1st Street
• Continues onto Railway Street through Historic Downtown Cochrane
• The 2026 route will be the same as the 2025 parade route, with an updated route map to be released by organizers before the event.
