52nd Annual Ophthalmology Alumni Meeting

ABOUT

The 2026 Ophthalmology Alumni Meeting will highlight current advances in the diagnosis and management of complex ophthalmic conditions. Expert faculty will discuss emerging surgical techniques, innovations in retinal imaging and treatment protocols, and evolving trends affecting ophthalmic practice. The program also features resident research presentations and opportunities for professional engagement among alumni, faculty, and trainees.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This program is designed for general ophthalmologists, sub- specialists, optometrists, residents, and medical students in the New York metropolitan area.

OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Integrate current evidence-based strategies for the management of corneal, retinal, pediatric ophthalmologic, strabismus, and oculoplastic conditions.

2. Apply advanced retinal imaging and OCT-guided protocols to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment timeliness.

3. Select appropriate medical and surgical management strategies for diabetic retinopathy, eyelid reconstruction, and adult strabismus based on patient-specific factors.

4. Assess the impact of healthcare system changes, including corporatization, on ophthalmic practice and patient care delivery.
