52nd Annual Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade 2025

The Belmar-Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade is a cherished annual event celebrating Irish heritage and community spirit in New Jersey. The 52nd edition of the parade is scheduled for Sunday, March 2, 2025, commencing at 12:30 PM along Main Street in Lake Como and Belmar.

Event Highlights:

• Grand Marshals: This year, the parade honors two distinguished individuals as Grand Marshals:
• Matthew Lee: A resident of Port Monmouth, Middletown, and a proud member of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh club and pipe band in Old Bridge.
• Fran Griffin: A resident of Seaview Island, who grew up in Wharton, NJ, and has been an active community member.

Pre-Parade Fundraisers:

To support the parade, several fundraisers featuring live Irish music, food, and entertainment are planned:

• Sunday, February 2, 2025: Bar Anticipation, 703 16th Ave., Lake Como, NJ, from 2 PM to 6 PM.
• Sunday, February 16, 2025: Reef & Barrel, 153 Sea Girt Ave., Manasquan, NJ.
• Sunday, February 23, 2025: Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore, 815 16th Ave., Belmar, NJ.

These events are open to the public and offer a chance to engage with the community ahead of the parade.

Investiture Mass and Lunch:

• Saturday, March 1, 2025: An Investiture Mass will be held at St. Rose Church, 601 7th Ave., Belmar, NJ, at 10 AM, followed by a lunch to honor the Grand Marshals.
