What: November 52 Hike Challenge - MN Chapter | Group Hike, Scavenger Hunt, and Celebration!

🌿In honor of the 52 Hike Challenge 10 Year Anniversary, we're celebrating!
AND - We're doing it alongside our long time sponsors at REI, celebrating 10 years of the mission of OptOutside!🌿

We will have a scavenger hunt for REI Giftcard Giveaways, a raffle for REI gear, and a raffle for 52 Hike Challenge Swag! You won't want to miss this fun adventure!
(AND we can't wait to share some post-hike snacks with you!)

When: Saturday, November 22 | 1:00-3:30pm

Where: Spring Lake Regional Park, Prior Lake, MN

Trail details & ability level: Approximately 4 miles of trail. This is an easy trail, with paved areas, and an easy breezy loop around the lake. We will take two loops and move into some varying unpaved areas too! With a fun scavenger hunt, a few water breaks, and some raffle drawings too, this will take approximately 2.5hrs to complete.
We will be mindful of weather conditions before this hike, to ensure everyone's safety. This includes temperature, rain/snow/storms, and any elemental conditions as they present themselves. If there is a cancellation necessary, we will try to do so within 24hrs of the day of the hike.

What to bring: Weather appropriate clothing (warm layers are best!), sunglasses, consider boots or supportive footwear, as generally cooler weather can mean warmer socks! Watch weather in case you need a raincoat/warmer jacket, bring a daypack or similar with water, personal needs, the Hiking 10 essentials, snacks in your pack, and a positive attitude!

Due to a larger group setting, no dogs or pets unless they are working/service animals.

Parking: Parking and admission is FREE! Meet in the Spring Lake Regional Park - Bike 3 Parking Lot - off of Howard Lake Road/County Road 82 (see image attached)
The parking lot is the LOOP lot located close to the trailheads that we will be covering
