At 511 Ramsey RAF Air Cadets, every week is an opportunity to experience and learn something new
If you are in year 8 and over the age of 12 and under the age of 17 come down to our recruitment evening on 11th September 2025 at 19:30.

🏅 Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – Challenge yourself and earn a respected achievement recognised worldwide.
🎯 Shooting & Archery – Learn marksmanship and precision skills in a safe, professional environment.
🌲 Fieldcraft & Adventure Training – Tactics, teamwork, and survival skills in the great outdoors.
✈️ Flying & Gliding – Take to the skies for a perspective few ever experience.
📡 Cyber & Radio Communications – develop radio skills and gain qualifications and badges.
🩹 First Aid Training – Gain life-saving skills that could make all the difference.
📚 RAFAC Classification Training – Progress through a structured syllabus to develop aviation and leadership knowledge.
💂 Drill & Discipline – Sharpen your confidence, teamwork, and presentation skills.
🏕 Blue & Green Camps – Blue Camps, put you right at the heart of RAF life, with visits to working RAF stations, chances to see aircraft up close, and opportunities to train alongside other squadrons. You might even get airborne!.
Green Camps focus on outdoor adventure, fieldcraft, and survival skills in realistic team challenges.
Whether your goal is to fly a plane, earn qualifications, or just try something completely different, the RAF Air Cadets will help you rise to the challenge. You’ll make new friends, develop your potential, and join a community where adventure is just the beginning.
