Pre-Conference Day Sessions

Advocacy for Early Educators (full day, lunch on own): Purpose-To unite Utah ECE professionals & leaders and deepen their leadership. A dive into WHY we do advocacy and create understanding on general organizing principles. Desired Outcomes include:

Leaders feel confident about organizing, and are thinking about their groups they can bring into this work 

Leaders feel confident about advocacy, talking to elected officials, telling their stories, and sharing their passion

NAEYC Accreditation Updates (half day - AM, lunch on own): Come spend this session with UAEYC Accreditation Co Chairs to learn the new NAEYC accreditation portal together and learn from accredited programs the drive behind becoming accredited and why you should consider it for your program!

Inclusion in ECE programs (half Day - PM, lunch on own): Come learn how to better support children with disabilities in your ealry learning programs, inlcuding emotional regulation and positive behavior, and an indepth discussion on supports and barriers to inclusion.
