On Monday, April 27, 2026, Buddy’s Pizza, creator of the original and most-awarded Detroit-style pizza, will host its 50th annual Slice for Life fundraiser to support Capuchin Soup Kitchen (CSK), donating 20 percent of dine-in and carry-out sales from all locations statewide to its longest-standing charitable partner.Through a combination of percentage of sale proceeds, customer and staff donations and online contributions, last year’s Slice for Life campaign raised more than $100K to support CSK’s mission of feeding bodies, nourishing spirits and strengthening Detroit communities. Michiganders can support this year’s Slice for Life campaign simply by visiting any of Buddy’s Pizza’s 19 restaurants statewide to enjoy their favorite menu items on Monday, April 27, 2026.
