ABOUT
The symposium will demonstrate the role of large language models in glaucoma management, highlight the latest innovations in refractive surgery, explore methods to reduce disparities in glaucoma treatment and discuss clinical development challenges in retinal diseases that will offer insights into the path from scientific discovery to clinical application.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Attendees will include general ophthalmologists, sub-specialists, optometrists, residents, and medical students.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the symposium, attendees will be able to :
- Describe the role of large language models in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma
- Obtain a deeper understanding of the role of African heritage in glaucoma development
- Discuss clinical development challenges in retinal vascular disease
- Discover new concepts in refractive lens surgery
- Identify dysfunctional lens syndrome
