Welcome to the 50th Annual MLK Awards Luncheon, the oldest event in the State of Illinois dedicated to honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. For five decades, this cherished community gathering has recognized local leaders, youth, and organizations that embody Dr. King’s vision of justice, service, and unity.
This year’s milestone celebration features a powerful keynote address from Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr., President & CEO of the Hip Hop Caucus. Rev. Yearwood is known nationally for his work in social justice, climate action, civic engagement, and mobilizing communities through culture and activism.
