50th Annual Boyne City Independence Day Run

Come for the race, stay for the parade and a day filled with family fun, music, activities, games and cap off your evening with an amazing Fireworks Show as part of the Boyne City 4th of July Festival!
A small town race done in a BIG way with as many as 1,300 participants in recent years, the Boyne City Independence Day run is a low cost and family fun event offering professionally timed 5 Mile and 2 Mile events. Finisher medals, free online finisher photos/video, chip start, age group awards and a true Dig Deep finish line will once again make this race exciting for 2026. Proceeds from the event go toward the amazing fireworks show that we strongly suggest participants stick around for!
Awesome cotton blend t-shirts will be provided with sizes guaranteed to those who register “with shirt” before midnight on Thursday, June 25th!
