This year’s Annual Picnic gets a major upgrade—and it’s all part of celebrating 50 years of the South Coasters.
Join us on July 18th for an afternoon that blends great camaraderie with a true summer fiesta. We’re bringing in a catered Mexican feast, complete with all the flavors you’d expect.
Between bites, take a walk through our curated historical display, celebrating five decades of rides, friendships, and unforgettable moments that made this club what it is today.
We’re also elevating the experience with a brand-new venue: Robbins Park, a private HOA facility that gives us the space and amenities to do this right. Think cool comfort inside an air-conditioned clubhouse, plenty of room to spread out on a large grassy field, and activities for everyone—from volleyball and pickleball to a relaxing pool and spa. There’s even a shaded, trellised seating area poolside that doubles as our buffet hub, with full kitchen support just steps away.
Our program will include
- Recognition of our founders, legacy members, and special guests.
- Awards for GM, ADV, and Weekend ride leaders.
- The Past Presidents Corn Hole Challenge played on our very own custom, South Coast-branded board.
- Giant jenga, also with the South Coast logo.
-A photo booth with motorcycle-related and period props for fun pics.
- Prizes, including 50th Anniversary limited edition mugs.
Whether you’re cooling off in the pool, or swapping stories with fellow riders, this year’s picnic is designed to be more than just a meetup—it’s a celebration. Just two minutes from the 405 freeway at University/Jeffrey, it’s an easy ride in and a hard place to leave.
In the past, our picnics were potluck, with everyone contributing a dish or dessert to share. For this year’s 50th anniversary celebration, we’re offering a fully catered event so everyone can simply come, relax, and enjoy the day. To help offset costs, we are charging a modest $10 fee per attendee (children under 13 are free). There are two ways to pay after registering:
