Dear Church Family and Friends,We wanted to let you know that the 50th Anniversary Celebration for Pastor Tony and Karen Facenda has been rescheduled from August 8th to Sunday, August 17th, due to the unexpected passing of Rachel’s mother. Please continue to keep Jonathan, Rachel, and their family in your prayers during this time.
The celebration will take place immediately following the morning service on Sunday, August 17th and will be held potluck-style on the church grounds. We’d love for everyone to stay and enjoy a time of food, fellowship, and honoring Pastor and Karen for their 50 years of marriage and faithful ministry.
To help us plan properly, please sign up by Wednesday, August 13th with what dish or item you plan to bring. Whether it’s a main dish, meat, side, salad, or dessert — it all helps ensure we have plenty of food for everyone! The sign up sheet will be on the table in the fellowship hall.
For those of you who are friends or family traveling from out of town — we’d love to have you join us! You’re also welcome to contribute to the potluck if you’re able. Just reply to this email and let us know if you plan to bring any food and we'll add it to our list.
There will also be a table set up for cards and gifts, for anyone who would like to bless Pastor Tony and Karen in that way.
