50th Anniversary Celebration

Mastodon State Historic Site is turning 50 years old this year! You're invited to celebrate this anniversary with historic site staff on Saturday, Sept. 5.
This event will feature free museum admission from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as well as free live music and interpretive programs in the picnic area between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome, and there is no need to register. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen and lawn chairs for the outdoor portion.
A complete schedule will be provided closer to the event date.
