509 Dancers Field Trip to Alki Beach

The 509 Dance Crew will be carpooling over to West Seattle to participate in the beach dance as the sun goes down. If you haven’t danced at Alki Beach before, you are in for a treat!
MEETUP: If you want to join the caravan, we are meeting at 1:15 PM at the Target parking lot in Yakima. We leave at 1:30 and will be passing by Ellensburg about 2pm to pick up more people. 🚐 🚙 🛻 🚗 Or, you can skip the caravan and just meet us at Alki Beach!
DETAILS: Leaving this early allows us to handle traffic and still be there in time for the intro lesson at 4:30. For those who don’t want to attend the lesson, there is time to grab a snack or a drink before the social starts at 5:30. After the social ends at 9:30, we will stop for a snack before heading back to Yakima. 🍻🌮🌭🍔🥨
COST: Tickets are purchased onsite only. If you are asked to buy tickets ahead, it is a scam! Cash/Venmo/Visa/MC accepted.

DANCING SURFACE: There will be linoleum taped down to the concrete plaza. You can use dance shoes, sneakers, or whatever you feel comfortable with. 👟🩴👡👞👠
SUGGESTED DRESS: the theme is Hawaiian/Tropical! You may want to bring a jacket - the weather forecast is good, but it might be chilly after the sun goes down.
