On Sunday 1st February join forum+ on a guided walk celebrating 50+ years of Islington LGBT History.
Celebrate LGBT History Month by learning about Islington's significant LGBT "firsts"! Hear about the UK's first gay mayor, LGBT rights demonstration and MP. Explore the local area that was home to LGBT legend Derek Jarman and the extraordinary Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence! There are so many points of interest on this fascinating walk from Angel Tube Station to Highbury Fields.
We will be guided by Karen Lansdown, official City of London Guide and Clerkenwell & Islington Guide. This guided walk is offered by LGBT charity forum+ , free to join and for ages 18+.
