🎉 Welcome to Our 50th Anniversary Celebration! 🎉
We are excited to invite the entire community to join us as we celebrate 50 years of caring for children, supporting families, and growing alongside our community.
Our center began in 1976 when a shared vision became reality and a nonprofit child care organization was established here in Black River Falls. From the very beginning, the goal was to provide safe, affordable, and high-quality care for children in a nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. What started in a small church building quickly became a trusted resource for local families, growing and expanding over the years to meet the needs of the community. Through strong community support and dedication, a permanent home for the center was built, helping secure the future of child care in our area.
As we celebrate this 50-year milestone, we honor the generations of children, families, staff, board members, and community supporters who have been part of this journey. This celebration reflects a legacy of care, commitment, and community—and a continued promise to serve future generations.

This is a family-friendly community event, and everyone is welcome! Whether you are a current family, former family, former staff member, alumni of the center, community supporter, or simply want to learn more about us, we'd love to celebrate with you.

🎨 Children's artwork displays
📚 Historical displays celebrating 50 years of memories
👩🏫 Meet our amazing teachers and staff
🎯 Family-friendly activities for children
📖 Community partners and interactive activities
🍽️ Community meal available for a free-will donation
🎟️ Raffle baskets featuring generous donations from local businesses and supporters
🎁 A free gift for every child who attends (while supplies last)
❤️ Opportunities to reconnect with former teachers, classmates, families, and friends while celebrating the history of Black River Child Care Center.
This celebration is also part of our fundraising efforts to support future improvements to our center, including facility updates, new learning materials, and enhancements that will benefit children and families for years to come.
