5 x 5 Art Exhibit & Fundraiser

The Johnson City Public Art Committee is pleased to announce its eighth annual 5 x 5 Art Exhibit & Fundraiser on August 7 at The Pavilion at Founders Park, 105 W. Main St., in Downtown Johnson City from 5:55-8 p.m. This year’s event will feature over 300 artworks that have been generously donated by over 100 area artists.
Both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artworks will be on offer this year, measuring either 5-by-5 inches or 5-by-5-by-5 inches, respectively. Each piece will be sold for $25. As in previous years, all artworks will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Therefore, attendees are encouraged to arrive promptly.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Johnson City Public Art. The exhibition is free and open to the public, and attendees will enjoy live bluegrass groups The Bidgoods and the Little City Upsetters as they peruse the artworks on display. Light refreshments will be provided.
