5 week beginners silver jewellery making course - perfect for total beginners!
You will complete 3 pieces of jewellery to take away with you using 5 different techniques over 5 weeks.
Learn a range of silver jewellery making techniques and use traditional hand tools to create beautiful pieces of jewellery in a creative and supportive environment at my Milton Keynes-based workshop.
The course is suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.
The five week course will include step by step instructions each week and build on knowledge from previous weeks too.
You will get the opportunity to use sterling and fine silver sheet, sterling silver wire, gold foil, cabochon bezel cups and semi precious gemstones.
The course will include:
– Earrings / pendant using disc cutting
– Texturing
– Ring making
– Cabochon setting
– Polishing
Tutor: Beccy Gillatt
Level: All welcome but perfect for beginners
Materials: In addition to your course fee (approx £30-£100 depending on the size of your pieces and the stone you choose)
