5 Parishes Show

Sunday 2nd August 2026 is the 90th Five Parishes Show, held at Peldon, near Colchester. A really great day out for all the family providing excellent value for money. 

The Show began in about 1926 and while much has changed over the years the organisers have always kept it as a traditional country show, run by locals and volunteers. 

This year, a full day’s main ring entertainment from 11:15 onwards includes: the M.A.D. BMX display, K&H Falconry with their birds of prey, the Romford Drum & Trumpet Corp, Tendring Dog Agility and, of course, our own very popular Musical Bales for dogs and their owners. There are many other attractions on the show ground including craft stalls, a catering village, the horticultural marquee, East Anglian Kite Fliers, etc. Also on site are the Horse Show and Dog Show.
