Day 1 (Sat)
We kick off early Saturday morning as we cross into Johor and head straight to one of its best-kept secrets — 2 stunning Blue Lakes nestled amidst lush hills and rugged cliffs. A short hike rewards us with panoramic views of the sapphire-blue waters — a picture-perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers alike.
Next, we take a leisurely drive into the laid-back Kota Tinggi Old Town, where heritage meets hearty local flavours. Stroll past pre-war shophouses, explore indie cafés, and savour Johor-style laksa, otak-otak, and other Malaysian local delicacies & authentic bites before we continue our journey to the coastal town of Mersing.
In Mersing, soak in the laidback charm of this quaint seaside town. Wander through its beautiful street murals, enjoy the river breeze, and feast on fresh seafood by the jetty as the sun sets. It’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and prepare for the island-hopping adventure the next day. However for those who're still adventurous and energetic, let's have a Happy Hour session of food, fun, jokes and merry-making as we share our travel stories, joys, hopes & aspirations late into the night.

Rise and Shine! Get ready for an unforgettable 5-island hopping tour! We’ll explore the raw beauty of Pulau Harimau’s sea cave and saltwater pool, the powdery sands of Pulau Rawa, the lush trails and cliff-jumping spots on Pulau Tengah, the untouched wilderness of Pulau Hujung, and the tropical paradise of Pulau Besar.
Expect crystal-clear waters, snorkeling over coral reefs, thrilling cliff-jumps, kayaking, and even a beach lunch (weather permitting).
Yes, each island has its own unique charm — from adventurous to tranquil — and together they promise an epic day in paradise.
But that's not all! Enroute on our way back from Mersing to JB, we'll stop at an interesting open-air Street-Food place (not known to many) to savor some of Malaysia's well-known local Hawker/ Street Food delicacies like char-kway-teow, oh-chien, chee-cheong fun, sambal sting-ray etc. dining under the stars before we head to the JB Customs/ immigration and back to SIN.
