Our trip begins as we travel from Toronto to Quebec City where you will enjoy a welcome dinner and relaxing evening in Quebec City.
Your adventure in Saguenay opens at Domaine le Cageot, where Nordic fruit wines and artisanal products introduce you to the distinct terroir of the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. After enjoying a vineyard picnic lunch, continue to the Musée du Fjord. At the Musée du Fjord you will find an engaging experience that brings the fjord’s geology, ecosystems, and maritime heritage to life before settling into the Delta Saguenay for a warm welcome dinner.
Step into the past at Val-Jalbert Historical Village, a remarkably preserved company town founded in 1901 and framed by the dramatic Ouiatchouan Falls. Enjoy a guided trolley tour through the village, ascend by cable car to a panoramic lookout above the waterfall, and experience a captivating 360-degree immersive show that reveals the story of the village’s rise and fall. After lunch, explore the Zoo Sauvage de Saint-Félicien, where you’ll stroll at your own pace and board the Northern Train for an open-air ride through expansive wildlife habitats teeming with boreal species.
The journey reaches its natural crescendo with a 3-hour cruise along the Saguenay Fjord. Glide between towering cliffs and shimmering waters as expert narration highlights the fjord’s geology, wildlife, and human history.
