Delve into movement from your head to your toes! Learn the technical aspects of HOW to move your body to create the shapes and rhythms in this dance style. Practice movement techniques while working with and appreciating your own body's beauty and strength. Play with the artistic elements of this ever-changing art form while celebrating the timeless nature of its roots. We will also utilize improvisational and choreographical formats for group dynamics.
The material covered will be tailored to suit the level of the dance students in attendance, but this is a beginner-friendly class! ALL levels (INCLUDING ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS!) are welcome and encouraged to join this class! Let's DANCE together- it makes the world a better place!
