4th of July Parade - America 250

The City of Seabrook will hold its annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in honor of the 250th anniversary of American independence. The parade rolls at 9:30 a.m. from the Miramar Shopping Center down El Mar Lane and N. Meyer Road, ending at the Bay Area Little League fields. Festivities continue at Rex L. Meador Park through noon. The event is free and open to the public.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
• 8:45 a.m. - Parade staging begins at the Miramar Shopping Center
• 9 a.m. - El Mar Ln. and N. Meyer Rd. close to traffic. Judging begins
• 9:30 a.m. - Parade rolls
• 10 a.m. - Hot dog reception at Rex L. Meador Park
• 11 a.m. - Parade winners are announced at the pavilion
• Noon - Event ends
ACTIVITIES AT THE PARK
• Hot dog reception hosted by the Rotary Club of Seabrook
• Bounce houses
• Hayrides
• Dunking booth
• Snow cones
• Unveiling of the 250th Commemorative Pelican
• Photo backdrop near the pavilion
PARADE INFORMATION
Parade entries must reflect the parade's theme, America 250, and the spirit of Independence Day. Decorations must be patriotic and non-political. Applications are reviewed and approved by event organizers.
Applications close on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 5 p.m.
KIDS' PARADE
Children are invited to decorate bikes, scooters, wagons, and other non-motorized rides and join the parade at the Evelyn Meador Library, 2400 N. Meyer Road. The Kids' Parade follows Uncle Sam on the hayride down to the Meador Park Pavilion.
ROAD CLOSURES
El Mar Ln. and N. Meyer Rd. will be closed to traffic beginning at 9 a.m. and are expected to reopen by 10:30 a.m. Drivers not attending the parade should plan alternate routes.
