Celebrate Independence Day with flair at the annual Lewes Boat Parade on July 4th! Join us at 1:30 pm on the picturesque Lewes Canal for a spectacular display of creativity and patriotism. Whether you're showcasing a beautifully decorated boat or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere, this event promises fun for all ages. Rain or shine, our community comes together to honor the spirit of July 4th in style. Don't miss out on this beloved tradition—come make waves with us and witness a parade that's as vibrant as it is unforgettable!Do you want to show off your decorated boat? Register by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3rd, at one of two locations:
-Lewes Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center (next to the Zwaanendael Museum)
-Lewes Harbour Bait and Tackle on Anglers Road (just past Irish Eyes)
Parade boats should line up at the Roosevelt Inlet at 1:00 pm.
Don't miss the awards for best decorations! Judges will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for most patriotic decor at 3:30 pm at the Lightship Overfalls.
