On Thursday, July 4th we will be completing a HERO WOD named Rhino in honor of Chief Warrant Officer 2 Rick Richardson. Warm-up will begin at 9:30am and the workout will begin at 10am.Chief Warrant Officer 2 Rick Richardson, 33, of the 9th Engineer Support Battalion, was killed in Farah province. He was in a region of western Afghanistan where Marines had faced fierce insurgency for more than a year. Richardson joined the Corps in 1996. He served as a machine gunner before becoming an explosive ordinance disposal technician. He had deployed to Afghanistan as an EOD officer in his sixth combat tour.
Richardson's widow and son are avid crossfitters and their local gym created this WOD in his honor.
