Anyone looking for a place and people to hang with on July 4th are invited to meet up at Russell Square Park (36th and Vine) for a cookout. We'll look to grab a picnic area with a grill early in the day and have food ready to eat by 2:00pm. Church will have chicken, burgers, and hot dogs or something else on the grill. A signup sheet is out at church to let us know if you plan on attending and also give you an opportunity to bring something to round out the meal. We will also have our cornhole boards, volleyball net, and other outdoor games available for some friendly competition. We'll shoot to clean up around 6:00pm and head for a good spot for the fireworks show at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
Si no tiene planes para el jueves, 4 de julio, están invitados a pasarlo con un grupo de nuestra comunidad en Russell Square Park (36 y Vine). Pueden ir comenzando a las 2:00pm. Vamos a tener hot dogs y otras cosas en el asador y se puede traer cosas como ensaladas, fruta, postres o lo que sea para acompañar la comida. Tendremos juegos y otras actividades. Como a las 6:00pm, vamos a limpiar y a ir al estadio de los Rapids para su evento alla para ver los cohetes.
