Come celebrate the 4th of July with us at Sussex Village Park for America's 250th Birthday!
Here's the line-up for the day!
4th of July Community Parade & Activities
This year we're going bigger than the Kiddie Parade. In honor of our nation's 250th birthday, we're transforming our beloved Kiddie Parade into a full Community Walking Parade - open to all ages. Dress in your most patriotic gear and march with us down Main Street to The Grove at Village Park, where free ice cream, playground fun, and the splashpad await!
9:15 a.m. Decorate yourself, your bike, scooter, cozy cope, or whatever you choose to ride in our Kiddie Parade. Line up in the parking lot at the Sussex Civic Center. No registration required.
9:30 a.m. Kiddie Parade Starts. Participants march west on Main Street to The Grove at Village Park. Spectators are welcome along Main Street!
10 a.m. Celebrate your arrival at The Grove with ICE CREAM! Bring your swimsuits and cool off a the splash pad!
Sussex-Lisbon Fireworks
New this year - our fireworks display will be set to music, making this Independence Day spectacular even more unforgettable!
9:00 p.m. Patriotic music will be played to round out this unforgettable day!
9:20 p.m. The full fireworks display can be viewed from the hill in front of The Ridge Pavilion in Sussex Village Park.
