4th of July Block Party: Volunteer for Bike Parking
About this Event
Event Wesbite: https://www.sunnyvale.ca.gov/recreation-and-community/special-events/4th-of-july-festival
OPERATIONS:
Supporting our bike valet is simple. Report to your meeting place on time, receive a short training from your supervisor, and welcome attendees as they roll in for the event. You will then tag the bike with an identifying number and safely park it in our secured corral. Later, when the owner returns, you'll match their tag with the appropriate bike and send them off with a smile!
SUPPLIES:
Please wear close-toed shoes, weather appropriate clothes, and bring lots of water and snacks just in case you get hungry. Athletic-leisure wear is encouraged, as you will be shuffling bikes around and lifting them onto the racks.
GETTING TO YOUR SHIFT:
Arriving on time will greatly help reduce the chance of getting stuck in traffic or having a hard time finding parking. Please be ready to walk a few blocks to the following meeting place, identified in the graphic attached. Upon sign up, you will receive a phone number to reach out to if you have trouble finding us on the day of!
