4th Fest 5K Run/Walk 2026

Kick-off Coralville 4th Fest with a 5K Run/Walk or a little bit of both! The race is chipped-timed and we will award the overall male and female finisher along with the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
A t-shirt will be included with registration, size preference will be collected with registration through June 10th. Thereafter, T-shirts will be available at packet pick-up on a first-come, first-serve basis only.
The course is challenging enough to satisfy experienced runners, but not too difficult for new runners. The 5K starts and finishes outside the Coralville Recreation Center (1506 8th St., Coralville).
The 5K race begins at 8:00 am. Stick around after the race for light refreshments and the awards ceremony.
REGISTRATION
$25 until June 10: 18 years and above
$20 until June 10: 17 years and below
$30 June 11-26: 18 years and above
$25 June 11-26: 17 years and below
$35 Day of Race: all age levels, must register by 7:45am
*T-shirts guaranteed to participants registered by June 10

The free Kids' Firecracker Mini-Marathon (26.2 yards, ages 6 & younger, no registration needed) follows in the Recreation Center parking lot at approximately 9:00 am.
