4th Annual Talk It Out

Currently, staff at the West Virginia Telamon office are coordinating an event to show our community support for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention in September. Telamon will be hosting our 4th annual Talk It Out event on Saturday September 12, 2026. This event is geared to help break the stigma associated with mental health and promote efforts for treatment and recovery in our community. Mental health education provides awareness and resources for those struggling or in crisis and you are never alone! Many of the clients in our programs lack family support and support is a key component to successfully reintegrating into the community. We want to let not only our clients, but our community know that there are resources and programs available that can help and that you do not have to fight this battle alone. We will be setting up at a new location this year at Martin Luther King Park in Martinsburg and will have other organizations and partnering agencies set up at this event. Come out for some free food, music, resources and program connections. At the end of the day PEOPLE NEED PEOPLE, and you never have to fight this battle alone! See less
