4th Annual Salsa on the Square

The Main Street project is hosting the 4th Salsa on the Square event highlighting Hispanic Heritage Month. This free event for friends and families to enjoy an evening of fabulous music, dancing, food trucks and smiles.
“Salsa on the Square” highlighted the Latin music and dancing on the Plaza downtown. Although the name is referring to a type of dancing, the salsa condiment will also be present. Several local restaurants have agreed to host a best tasting salsa competition on the plaza by the JJ Culberston Fountain.
Downtown Paris continues to revitalize and offer events for all our citizens. With this event, we desire is to give extra recognition to the many contributions made Hispanic and Latino communities to the history and culture of the United States, such as popular and traditional foods, music, dancing and arts.
