We are excited to announce the return of San Pedro's Potlicker Dog Show!8 island-born doggos will compete in classic dog show events to find out who is best in show!
It will be EXACTLY like Westminster...except without the hundreds of years of breeding, hours of grooming, professional handlers, training, crowds, television crew, or prize money.
This event is benefiting SAGA, our local humane society.
Saga Humane Society is a non-profit Animal Humane Society and veterinary clinic in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize. You can find out more about them by going to their website at www.sagahumanesociety.org
Obstacle Course and competition – Will be made up of several events!
Introduction to dog contestants with tail wagging contest followed by:
1. Temptation Alley
2. Weaving Poles
3. Hola Hoop Jump
4. Agility Ramp
Each contestant will receive a swag bag courtesy of our local dog treat makers, gift cards, and more! Plus we will have Lots of other fun prizes for our potlicker friends!
If you are a dog lover, this is the event for you! Fun for the whole family 🤙🏽🥳
This is a free event and open to the public! We will not be taking reservations so come early to grab your table, food and drinks, raffle tickets, and try your chance at the silent auction!
WE WILL START VETTING OUR COMPETITORS, SO IF YOU HAVE AN ISLAND POTLICKER AND YOU THINK HE/SHE HAS WHAT IT TAKES SHOOT US A MESSAGE ON FACEBOOK AND WE WILL GET YOU SIGNED UP!
VENDORS, SILENT AUCTION, RAFFLES, AND MORE! WE WILL ANNOUNCE THIS AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE EVENT!
Dog show kick off will be around 4:15pm!
