Hosted by OCD Texas and proudly presented by OCD & Anxiety of The Woodlands, this one-day event brings together clinicians, educators, students, advocates, individuals living with OCD, families, and community organizations for a day of learning, connection, and hope.
Whether you're a mental health professional looking to earn continuing education credits, a parent searching for resources, someone living with OCD, or simply passionate about improving mental health in Texas, the OCD Texas Symposium offers something for everyone.
This year's symposium features two concurrent educational tracks:
🩺 Clinical Track
Designed for mental health professionals, physicians, students, and clinicians seeking practical, evidence-based education on OCD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
💙 Community Track
Created for individuals with OCD, family members, caregivers, educators, advocates, and community partners, with sessions focused on understanding OCD, supporting recovery, reducing stigma, and building stronger support systems.
🌟 Keynote Speaker
We're honored to welcome Dr. Patrick McGrath, Chief Clinical Officer of NOCD, as our keynote speaker. A nationally recognized leader in OCD treatment and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dr. McGrath has dedicated his career to expanding access to evidence-based care and educating clinicians, families, and individuals about OCD.
In addition to educational sessions, attendees will enjoy:
✔️ A Mental Health Resource Fair featuring local organizations and providers
✔️ Opportunities to network with professionals, advocates, and community members
✔️ Practical tools and resources to support recovery and improve access to care
✔️ Continuing education credits for eligible professionals (up to 4 CE credits)
