Join us for the 4th Annual Murphy POTA Meet-Up located at the Hanging Dog Recreation Area in Murphy, North Carolina, on Saturday, April 24th, 2027. We'll be there most of the day. The group Parks-On-The-Air (POTA) Activation is planned to begin at 2 p.m. It's a 2'fer: US-4509 & US-6927. We intend to work multiple bands. Equipment will be provided; however, feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone there! GPS: 35.096852, -84.092668. Hanging Dog Boat Ramp, 1881 Hanging Dog Campground Rd, Murphy, NC 28906.
Rain or shine we'll be there under the large, covered, pavillion. Light snacks and bottled waters *might* be provided this year, we'll see. ;-) Potluck items are also welcomed. Please feel free to bring along whatever, or whomever (lol) you'd, like! A group dinner at a local restaurant will likely follow afterwards.
