The third annual Friends of Lake Accotink Park-FLAP Beaver Boogie 5k Fun Run/Walk will occur Saturday 28 November 2026. All Awards will be given upon winners returning to FLAP tent. All Raffle winning tickets will be Posted at the FLAP tent. Many Award Categories (M/W Run-Walk 1,2,3 Place Winners and more - Awards: 1st Place winners receive Backpack Stuffed with prizes, all winners receive ($$ Gift Card) and more. Overall, 1 st,2nd and 3rd Place Winners receive the coveted -Handmade FLAPer Boogie Beaver. Packet pick-up opens 9am event start 10am at Lake Accotink Park, 7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield VA 22150. Early Packet pick up available Friday 27 November (5-7pm) at Kilroy's. Raffle (ticket attached to bib, items include a NEW Kayak and more.

FLAP is a non-profit dedicated specifically to Lake Accotink Park under FCPA MOU, our mission: " Protect, restore, preserve and educate all concerning the natural, historical and cultural resources of Lake Accotink Park"

This is an annual event which continues to raise awareness and resources to support our organization’s mission. As a certified 501(c)3 dedicated to our Lake Accotink Park mission, “Protect, restore, preserve and educate all concerning the natural, historical and cultural resources of Lake Accotink Park” . As a 100% volunteer organization – all donations go directly to support our projects and programs.
