Rivers Bend Family Resort – 4th Annual Fishing Tournament Rules & Info1. Check-In / Starting Point
Starting point: Tipton Ford Access
Check-in time: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
2. Qualifying Fish
Large Mouth Bass
Spotted Bass
Small Mouth Bass
3. Take Out / Deadline
Take out location: Rivers Bend Family Resort LLC
All photos must be submitted by: 2:30 PM
✅ Any fish checked in after 2:30 PM will NOT count.
Awards begin: 3:00 PM
4. Measuring + Submitting Fish
Each paid angler will receive a tournament ruler at Tipton Ford Access (you may also use your own butt ruler).
Your ruler will have a number on it and that number must be visible in every fish photo.
Fish length will be measured from the front of the mouth to the tip of the tail (tail fanned/open).
Submit your catch by texting your fish photo(s) to be added to the leaderboard.

Fishing Rules
Artificial bait only (NO LIVE BAIT)
Any kayak/boat that is legal in the State of Missouri may be used
You must remain in your kayak while fishing (no fishing from the bank or gravel bars)
All Missouri Laws must be followed while on the water
5. Scoring
Your best 5 bass will be counted.
Total score = combined length of your 5 bass.
If you catch a fish longer than your smallest in your top 5, your total will be updated on the leaderboard.
Optional Pots
Big Bass Pot: $2 entry
Other Fish Pot: $2 entry
Winners receive 75% of each pot
The remaining 25% will be donated
✅ No refunds due to water conditions or scheduling conflicts.
6. Kids Division (14 & Under)
We’re excited to offer a kids division this year (14 & under)!
Kids must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Kids may also enter the Big Bass & Other Fish pots for $2 each (same as adults).
7. Entry Fees (Cash Only)
Adults
Early Entry: $20
Day of Tournament: $25 (pay at Tipton Ford during Check In)
Kids (14 & Under)
Early Entry: $10
Day of Tournament: $15

8. Safety + Regulations
All participants are responsible for following Missouri fishing and boating/kayaking regulations, including having a valid fishing license.
You must be able to safely handle a kayak on Shoal Creek.
A parent/guardian must be with any minor participant.
By signing the entry form, you release Rivers Bend Family Resort LLC from all liability while participating or being on the water.
Any participant who cheats or is suspected of cheating will be disqualified.
All participants must follow all campground rules while on Rivers Bend property.
9. Prizes + Charity
Prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be announced at 3:00 PM
Trophies will be awarded for 1st place in both Adult and Kids divisions.
25% of entry fees will be donated to a local charity (to be announced).
