4th Annual Don Burge Day

Come down to the Prehistoric Museum for our 4th Annual Don Burge Day! Don was the founding director of our museum back in 1961 and an influential presence in our community for decades. Each year on his birthday we honor his legacy with free admission to the museum all day long. The first 100 visitors on Friday, June 26th will receive a limited edition Utah Mammoth pin.
This event is highlighted by a folk music jam from 2pm-4pm. Bring your banjo (Don's primary instrument), your voice, or any other acoustic instrument and help us fill the museum with music in his memory.
This year we are also adding a Museum Member’s Cook-Out as part of our celebration. You can learn more about becoming a member here!
