Save the Date! The Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence is hosting their 4th Annual Dia de los Muertos Tribute is set for Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, from 12-4 p.m. at Union Park (next to the Carousel) in Des Moines. What to Expect:
- NEW THIS YEAR – Carousel Rides from 1-3 p.m.!
- Children's Activities
- Face Painting
- Food and Drinks*
- Live Performances and Music
All activities and entertainment are FREE!
We invite you to join us in remembering and honoring the names, faces, and stories of individuals who have lost their lives to gender-based violence. Attendees are welcome to bring a photograph of a loved one to place on this year's Ofrenda (altar) to elevate their stories and names.
