4th Annual Community Flag Retirement

Join us as we come together for the 4th Annual Community Flag Retirement Day, a meaningful tradition honoring the symbol of our nation and the men and women who have defended it. This ceremony provides our community with a dignified and proper way to retire worn, faded, or unserviceable American flags in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.

Hosted by American Legion Post 112, this event brings together veterans, families, Scouts, civic groups, and neighbors of all ages for a moment of reflection, respect, and unity. Attendees are welcome to bring flags for retirement or simply join us to observe the ceremony and pay tribute to the values our flag represents.

This annual gathering has grown into a cherished community tradition—one that honors service, teaches younger generations the importance of respect, and reminds us all of the pride we share in being Americans.
