🐔 Chicken Fest is Back! 🐔
We're bringing Lakewood's favorite feathered festival back to 40 West Arts for year four! Join us for a full day dedicated to all things chicken, art, music and community.
What's clucking this year:
🎨 Chicken-themed artwork and sculptures on display
🏆 The famous Chicken Cluck n' Strut Contest
🍗 Chicken food trucks
🥚 Chicken egg scavenger hunt
🎶 Live music all day long
🎉 Plenty more fun for all ages
Fun fact: The HUB Building has chicken in its bones. Long before it was home to 40 West Arts and a lineup of artist-owned galleries, this building was the Denver Drumstick, a beloved restaurant known for its model train circling the ceiling and its famous boxcars of chicken and shrimp. You can still spot etchings from the old Drumstick days on the doors to the 40 West Arts gallery. Chicken Fest is our way of honoring that history while celebrating what this space has become.
This event is free and open to everyone. Bring the whole family and come celebrate with us!
