Cedar Valley Lodge 233 is excited to announce that our 2026 Disc Golf Tournament will take place on June 28, 2026, at Big Woods Disc Golf Course in Cedar Falls, Iowa.Over the past three years, this event has raised more than $14,000 in sponsorships and donations, supporting meaningful local and statewide causes. These have included genetic research for a Cedar Falls teen, University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, local mental health organizations, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
This year, we are proud to deepen our local impact. As an action-oriented, community-driven organization, Cedar Valley Lodge #233 will dedicate tournament proceeds to launching a new Education Scholarship. This scholarship will support current and former students of the Cedar Falls Community School District and surrounding communities who are pursuing higher education in the 2026–27 academic year.
Your sponsorship directly supports our continued commitment to education—a long-standing pillar of the Odd Fellows. Across Iowa, the Grand Lodge annually invests $30,000 or more in scholarships for Odd Fellows families. In addition, the organization sponsors the Pilgrimage for Youth, a fully funded, two-week historical tour of the East Coast for high school students. Nationally, the Sovereign Grand Lodge has contributed more than $3.5 million through its Education Endowment.
