We're excited to announce our 5th Annual In-House Weightlifting Competition scheduled for Saturday, January 17th, 2025!
This competition is exclusive to current CrossFit Adept members only and it is FREE to participate!
For those unfamiliar with the world of competitive weightlifting (sometimes referred to as "olympic weightlifting"), it is a sport in which athletes compete in the weightlifting movements, the snatch and clean & jerk, vying to successfully lift the heaviest weight in both movements. During a weightlifting competition or meet, each athlete gets 3 attempts at each movement. At the conclusion of the competition a winner of each the snatch and clean & jerk are announced, as well as the winner with the highest total (combination of weight lifted in both movements).
For our 5th Annual Adept Lift Off, we will be dividing up all participants into the following divisions:
Male Division
Teen (13-18 years old)
Senior (18-35 years old)
Master (35-50 years old)
Legend (≥50 years old)
Female Division
Teen (13-18 years old)
Senior (18-35 years old)
Master (35-50 years old)
Legend (≥50 years old)
